History
John Bojec Racing
is a professional race team started over 12 years ago as
a truck pulling team
under the name Blue Ox Motorsports.
The Blue Ox truck was one of the most successful trucks in
NTPA history, racking up wins from coast to coast including a world
championship in 1998. During the late 90s Blue OX made multiple national TV
appearances and was so dominant that when the truck was retired it was
purchased by Stage Coach Productions and placed in a museum.
In
2003 John made the transition from pulling trucks to professional drag racing.
With this change brought new challenges and goals for the team. John’s decision
was based on exposing businesses to the powerful marketing environment of
professional drag racing. As a business owner himself John has successfully
promoted his own companies image using the team’s resources as a valuable tool.
